was built at the end of the XVII century being
habitated by the worthy Antonio José de
Ayos, after it was registered for purchase at
the end of the XIX century, near 1890 by Don Juan
de Bautista Maineros y Trucco, during the republican
period, the house was transformed into a popular
trade center until 2002 when it is redesigned
to what it has become today, the exclusive Hotel
Casa del Arzobispado. Its colonial style offers
a singular contrast and harmony for a complete
